I had a wonderful haddock supper this evening. The haddock was fresh and cooked to perfection in a batter that was crispy but still moist. The chips were great quality and a good size portion, well worth the money. The optional lemon wedge and tartare sauce is always a nice touch. The service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend Smiffy’s, I have been returning when on holiday for many years and will continue to do so.

Stopped on the way back from a football game in Dingwall for quick bite on route down the A9. Managed to park on street right outside for free. Staff really friendly and welcoming; wishing us a safe onward journey down the road when we left was a nice thoughtful touch. Food was spot on and served quickly, the indoor seating was clean and warm. Recommended.

Popped in for dinner and it was very busy but the staff let us order a takeaway and hop on a table if it came available. Which it did and our server spotted it too and raced to clean it for us and bring us our food plated. Food was really good, decent sizes and really reasonable prices.

Amazing place, best fish and chips I’ve had north of the English border...! We visit every year we come to Aviemore and never disappointed. Fresh, amazing food and always served with great customer care. Won’t go anywhere else when we visit the area. Decently priced and lots more than just fish and chips available. Usually a queue but it goes down quickly and availability to sit in.

It's the only place to go for amazing fish and chips.....its the best!!! Great service and the fish is the best I've ever had anywhere!! Generous sized portion of fish when you dine in.

Man, oh man. Where do I start? Fresh fish, crispy chips (or fries), cozy atmosphere, helpful staff, huge portions, rapid service, what else do you need? We're on our road trip, but we've visited the place twice in a row. It's that good! Don't take the word of a tourist. Go and see how many locals frequent the place . Bon appetit!

I've tried a few fish and chips through out my life, but I can confidently say this is the best one. I visited this place three times during my roadtrip through the highlands and I was equally satisfied every time. Quality fish and fries, quick delivery, nice clean place and salt/vinegar/ketchup to compliment your meal. I recommend!
